What is involved in sharpening grooming clipper blades?
#1) The blades are disassembled, cleaned and blown.
#2) The blades are placed on the whetstone and sharpened until the entire cutting surface reaches a new edge.
#3) The blades are washed again in a degreasing cleaner and dried with compressed air.
#4) The upper knives of the blades are lubricated and aligned again, then the spring tension is checked.
#5) Each blade is tested with a special test chain and adjusted to optimum cutting performance.
